What other methods are you expecting there to be? Magic? You can try not having sex around the time you ovulate but it's not a reliable method. And breast feeding does not prevent you from getting pregnant. That is an old wives tale.

have u tried the the calendar method. that is where so many days out of the month u r furtile and u dont have sex during that time which fo rme was like the 12- 19 day of the month. it u do it rite the first 2 weeks are safe and the 3 rd week is furtile and the 3th week u are safe again. or better yet get a kit from the store and see when u r furtile days are and go from there.

Then you need to know when you ovulate for sure...be aware that the natural family planning method is not 100%....
The only way for you to know if you are ovulating is to take your basal body temp each morn, same time and before you get up. You should see a pattern in temps that leads up to and after ovulation. You can get the basal thermometer at Wal-Mart for about 8 dollars. I use a wonderful FREE website called Fertilityfriend.com...it graphs your temps for you, keeps track of your fertility signs, tells you when you ovulate and also tells you if there is an implantation dip in your temps. You can also use Ovulation prediction kits, but they only measure your LH surge and give you a ball park time for ovulation...they do not pin point it. Oh, and it is possible to be ovulating while you do not have your period, just like it is possible to have a period and not ovulate.

Get a diaphragm! Thats what DH and I used while waiting to get my tubes tied. It was great and i wish i had found it years ago! There is natural family planning, but I have an 8 yo that proves it doesn't always work...worked for a few years though! But you can't have sex "when the mood strikes" as the point is to abstain during your fertile time.

I am using the IUD. The just slip it into your cervix and you can do whatever you want. You can leave it in as long as you want 5 to 10 years depending on the type you choose but you can also have it removed when ever you feel like getting pregnant again. Just talk to your ob/gyn or visit mirena-us.com for more details. Good Luck and God Bless!!!

You can't have everything. Either you take some sort of birth control, or you have sex whenever you want and might get pregnant. That's up to you.
If you take the pill (you can take in micro dosis) then as soon as you stp it it increases your chances t become regnant...Best of Luck

You better rely on good, old-fashioned infertility then. If you want to be responsible about family planning you have to be responsible about sex.
