Yes.
It would be best for him... and best for the Yankees. He is a great player, but he sure does not seem to be able to handle the post-season spotlight... ESPECIALLY when you add on the extra New York glare.

Hell NO !!!! Excuse my french, but if they do, they're idiots!
He belongs in pinstripes no matter what the stupid newspapers say.
He's just emotional. He wants everyone to like him & feels bad when he disappoints his fans. It gets to him.
That doesn't make him a bad player ~ it makes him human!
All that being said, the fact remains :
A-Rod's one of the best players in the game. Period.
If Steinbrenner doesn't want him anymore, there will be plenty of teams that would give their right arm for my sweet A-Rod!
If they're dumb enough to let him go, I hope he comes to a CA team!
I'd get season tickets for sure!

Usually im one to stick up for A-rod, but, i've had enough of him. Had a chance to hit bombs on two hanging curves but instead he likes to watch them go in the catchers glove. Today will make or break his time with the Yankees.

Yeah, he should go to the Cubs, a team that doesn't make the playoffs often. Then he can perform without pressure.

I don't think they can, due to A-Rod's huge contract.
