Me personally, I stopped growing after the fifth grade (the year that I began my menstrual cycle). I went from being the tallest in my elementray school to one of the shortest in my graduating high school class. (five foot two). My doctor had told me that some women stop growing after their menstrual cycle kicks in full blast, and some grow until they are 18. Good luck to you.

Everything depends on how tall everyone else is in your family, the genes you inherited for how tall you will be, etc. Don't feel alone; I didn't start my period until about that age either. I don't think I grew any after my period, tho. I stopped growing at about 16, if not earlier. Most girls stop growing between the ages of 16 and 18. Don't feel bad about how much taller your mom is than you. My mom and grandma and I are all the same height; my sister is about 2-3 inches taller than I am. Things will come in their time. Don't worry, things will happen,w when your body is ready for them to.

I didnt get mine until the end of my 9th grade year. I was very active in sports which is probably one of the reasons why I was a late starter. I was 5'6 in the 9th grade and when I graduated I was 5'9. Everyone is different. You can have the doc check your growth plates and see if youre done growing for the most part or if you have some left to do!
