I don't give a toot what the others may have to say about this but the worst presidents have been and still are Reagan and both Bush's.
The most selfish, controlling, non-reasoning, irresponsible, lying, power hungry beasts to ever be in office.
I may get blasted for my answer but as me if I care because I'm telling it like it is.

I have lived through all the presidents' terms and I used to think Reagan was the worst because he was an idiot who didn't have a clue what was going on around him but at least he wasn't as dangerous to the human race as Bush is. That gives Bush the prize. By the way, history will eventually prove that Carter was the best. I have also been to the future. I know!

People are so funny, but for what it's worth, here's my two cents: the worst president in the last 30 years must be George W., hands down. I can't say the same for Reagan, as I just don't know, and I can't claim to have some crazy accounting of history that tells me something which is otherwise nonsensical. But this Bush administration has set the country back at least 30 years, possibly more. His foreign policy is a joke (and I do mean we are literally an international joke), and the domestic policy has been ridiculous at best and horrifying at worst (such setbacks include, but are not limited to, stem cell research, national wilderness preservation, global warming denial, abysmal failure at educational reform, rapidly expanding disparity between wealth classes, and so on). George W. Bush is not only a failure as a president, but a disgrace as the primary representative of Americans.

No. Actually I think Carter was the worst President by far in the last 30 years. Carter singularly failed in every challenge he was given as this nation's President.

From dealing with Islamic Terrorists (we didn't call them that then) to communism, to the economy, to inflation, to unemployment, to oil prices and supplies, and even overall morale, he failed every test. In fact, can one person name even one accomplishment of the Carter Presidency besides helping to negotiate a peace between Israel and Egypt? He was a good man, but an awful President

Maybe you weren't around back in the late 70's, but I was, and I remember just how bad it was. We are living in a wonderland now, compared to the Carter years.

Reagan was far superior. Sure, he had his negatives, but he was largely responsible for turning the economy around and defeating communism. I would place Reagan as the 3rd greatest president in the 20th century, after Roosevelts 1 and 2

Bush will be somewhat less great, but still far superior to Carter.

Nope, Carter and Clinton. The two best in the past 30 years are President Nixon and President Reagan.

Reagan was not so blatantly bad as Bush.

Bush is either stupid, or evil.

His father, a former president who had good reasons NOT to invade foreign countries, defends his son and says GW is smart, because he got through Yale.

If he's not stupid, then he must be EVIL.

If GW were on the way to HELL itself, he'd still yell "Stay the course", rather than just simply admit that he made a big mistake
to invade Iraq.

He writes checks that we citizens have to cash, with the blood of our next generation, and our personal pocketbooks.

He is the biggest abomination in History, even worse than Hitler.

No, that honor goes to Mr. Carter who did nothing, and Clinton, who is at fault for letting Al-Queda gain strength while he was busy with Monica.

For the lady who said Nixon, that was not in the last 30 years, as he resigned in 1974, which is 32 years.
