UTIs are really best treated by a doctor. if you can take the pain, you can wait to see if your body fights it off. drink lots of water and cranberry juice. cranberries work by making it hard for the bacteria to adhere to the walls of the urinary tract. it won't kill them like an antibiotic, but can make it easier for you to fight the infection yourself.
keep in mind, certain types of bacteria from a bladder infection can also cause a kidney infection, which is much more serious and will definitely need to be treated by a physician.
so if you start to feel much sicker than you already feel, see a doctor ASAP.

If you live in the USA, you will have to go to a doctor to get the meds you need. Elsewhere out side the USA go to the pharmacy and ask for a Antibacterial.
My suggestion is to go to the doctor and find out if it is a bladder infection or something else, and find out why you are having bladder infections and stop doing what ever it is that making you have them.
Reason, you know you have a bladder infection, because you have had similar problems before.
Therefore, this is not your first time. Moreover, it may not be a bladder infection at all but a STD. Many STD have symptoms like a bladder infection.

I can usually drink a whole jug of cranberry juice, and my bladder infection goes away. Now, if it is a really bad infection, you should go to the doctor. For a minor one, though, cranberry juice should do the trick. Should being the operative word;everyone is different so it might not work for you. I like the white cran-strawberry juice.

Lots of 100% cranberry juice.
A doctor can give you an antibiotic and clear it up really fast. Just drinking cranberry juice will not kill the bacteria/infection.

yikes, that could get painful. You could take cranberry pills (high doses of cranberry) and/or drink cranberry juice, but it may not cure it. If it gets too painful, take something for it, but if it lasts more than 2 or 3 days, go to a dr.
