Peter Gabriel , no competition. Phil Collins is a great DRUMMER & seriously needs to shut up & play drums again. Ever notice how when Phil Collins took over the vocals ( and effectively took over the band) Genesis went from being one of the most interesting & unique prog bands of that era to being one of the most insipid pop bands of that or any other era?

Now, that is a hard question. Peter Gabriel you can't deny being good, but, so is Phil Collins. I guess Phil Collins (not because I've seen him live, very good by the way!) as the singer but Sledgehammer, the video by Peter Gabriel was very, very good.

How the hell do you answer this one? Gabriel is excelent, so is Collins.

Collins gets the prize for his song 'The Last Spike'. I'm a trained Classical singer, but I had one hell of a job singing this song at a recent karaoke event.

Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins sound very similar so it's a toss up.

Peter Gabriel- one of the best vocalists ever in my opinion.
Phil Collins sold out to commercialism and chart topping cheesy success.
