OMG!!! I LOVE SIMS 2!!! i use a couple cheats codes:
motherlode=50,000 sim dollars
move_objects on= move objects u cant move or delete before, for example: the mailbox
move_objects off= turn of the move_objects on cheat
expand= make the cheat box big and it wont take so long
exit=close cheat box
and.......when u have the big cheat box and uve entered motherlode, u just presse up and then enter so u dont have to type it over and over again....

Aging on/off turns agin on or off
maxmotives turns all your bars to green (love this cheat!)
