Fastest way to get money is to sell it. List it on http://www.craigslist.org (It's free) and many people search the site for in-expensive vehicles.
To get the most money out of it, the best thing to do is part it out, but it's also a lot of work.

If you know a good mechanic they could sell it for you, but you have to probably give him some the cash or post it on the internet.
