Drink some hot water, take a hot bath and breathe in the steam. Pot vicks vaporub on your chest and what reeally helps me is if you put a little bit on the tip of your nose as well. The only other way I can really think of would be to go to the doctor.

Mucinex just became available over the counter. It works too. I write orders for mucinex all the time, especially now that it's change of season.
Robitussin is also another good one. Mucinex is a pill, robitussin is a cough syrup but it also comes in pill form.

Go to pharmacy and ask the pharmacist. They are great. There are meds you can take with bp meds but you must ask the pharmacist to be sure of which ones.
