Just think about it. Did it hurt when a person came out? It will hurt when a person goes in....until you heal. There are other ways to be close to your husband without subjecting yourself to injury. (and those ways can be fun and romantic) Most women do not wait more than 4 weeks but really should listen to their Dr.

You do need to wait for six weeks, and no it will not hurt again. The baby came through so why would you think it would hurt.

I'm a nurse......and a mother of four.
Nah, you don't have to wait the six weeks. Nothing will break if you have sex. It is just a matter of you allowing your body to get back to normal, and heal.
You can get pregnant again shortly after you deliver.....so be careful. Just pay attention to your body....if it hurts, take it easy or stop.
But for me, I waited two weeks after the baby was born and I was all over my husband! And it felt great!!!

We waited 8 weeks each time after the births our two children, and it hurt a little, but was not completely uncomfortable. We took our time. I also had to wait after I'd had uterine surgery, but my husband didn't want to wait the whole required time, so we had sex about 4 weeks after I'd gotten out of the hospital.
Just take your time and go slowly. Be careful you don't get pregnant again so soon after this birth. It can, and does, happen! How do I know? It happened to me!

It depends on if your baby tore you or not if you had to get stiches then I would wait atleast 3 weeks before you do anything, give the stiches time to desolve. If not then I would wait just about 2 weeks anyway to make sure that your body is ok for it. and yes it might hurt just a little but it all depends on your body and what it says to do.

I think if you had it natural there is a reason why you should wait. Your body is suppose to heal right and you do not want to complicate things. I did not wait I had sex in three weeks after having my child but I had a c-section and I was not bleeding (tmi I know lol) I was fine.

at least want wait three weeks, cause after we born a baby, we need some times and foods to recover our body. although it won't hurt, but when you age got about 40, you will know the problem.

I don't think it is the hurt aspect of waiting 6 weeks. Medically it is safer and there are reasons that doctors have you wait. One of them is the risk of infection. You need to consult your doctor about this. As far as it hurting, that all depends on how long your labor was and how much tearing if any happened.

you may desire to attend so your physique can heal. you desire each and every thing to paintings precise until now you have intercourse back. some docs will say it is okay until now the six weeks is up. It does not harm, yet you won't be in the temper very generally. you would be drained from looking after the infant.
