I think it depends on the # of windows and doors and wheather the adjacent rooms have heat. If they room has just 1 -2 decent windows, 1- door and heated adjacent room a 4-6 ft. heater should do it and put it under the window on the outer wall if possible to be the most effective.

miss-mary is right, you probably want about 3000 watts of heat

one 2000 watts or two 1000watts.
