I prefer Vinyl... Listening to it and mixing it... CD's are more versatile but not as good as Vinyl :)
To get the best sound play it loud but turn the bass down slightly so it doesn't over power the rest of the track :)

Vinyl is definetely much better, as it stores over 3 times the amount of information as a cd. The reproduced sound is therefore natural and true to the instruments. You definetely can hear the difference. The real thing are however only pre-1990's records as they were not digitally modified. SACD is the next closest thing to a vinyl, but far too expensive. I love my record player and am every time impressed when listening to some old jazz or classic rock. It just feels like the band sits right next to me!

Vinyl is cool because it is a different listening experience every time you listen to it. CDs are good because of the sound quality. Both are very good, but overall I like CD's better. There is no denying the coolness of vinyl records though.

I hope you are blasting your music through headphones, so that the rest of society can enjoy their friday. Vinyl breaks nicely over the head, CDs can be bent and rammed down the throat of noisemakers.

I like vinyl better because it's an analog sound and sometimes digital (CD) can't reproduce that quality.
