I was 16 years old.
I paid for it but, grandpa gave me the loan. I paid him back as quickly as I could.
I paid for my own car insurance.
I paid for my own registration.

When I was 16 I was working 2 jobs and going to high school. I walked most of the time but, when time wouldn't permit I took a cab (and paid for it with my own money). I didn't ask for anyone to help. My grandpa saw what I was doing and wanted to help me. I never received handouts and can't imagine wanting them. I was raised to think of others before myself. (Sometimes that's not very good to do but the majority of the time it IS.) I have three children and they will not receive a car from me unless they prove to be responsible and are willing to earn it. (They will pay for it. If I buy it, they will pay me back.) No teenager needs or deserves a brand new car. Children these days are handed too much and don't appreciate the things they have. I pray you appreciate what your father has done for you. It sounds like he loves you very much. Good luck to you and God bless! Oh ... and DON'T speed. :)
