is there any way to copy email from Outlook Express onto a cd?

I would like to save the emails from my Outlook Express so I can take them off my hard drive but can't figure out how to get them onto a cd. is this possible?

Another option to save e-mails from Outlook Express is to click on the floppy icon (Save As) that is in the top tool bar, give your e-mail a file name, and then go to "My Documents" and send the icon to a CD or floppy diskette.

That method works well for me.

Yes.

From the Outlook Express menu select Tools | Options | Maintenance and click the StoreFolder button. You see a dialog with the name of the directory that has your mail files. If you look in that directory you find files named after your mail folders and news groups. They all have a .DBX suffix. Outlook Express keeps all messages in these database files. If you make copies of these files regularly, you'll have a safe backup of your OE mail.

Restore (if necessary): To restore the backup data, just copy it back to the directory. You can selectively restore folders by just copying specific files back. Alternatively, you can use OE's File | Import | Messages feature to import one or more of the backup folders. Email Account Settings

it may preclude all of them in a unmarried go through left clicking your mouse once on the first e-mail to spotlight it without establishing it, then carry down the arrow and alt on your key board preserving them both held down click on the finest e-mail you want to maintain, then on the right of the demonstrate screen bypass to record then keep because it is going to keep all of your emails at one time.you could pick to maintain to floppy or reminiscence stick or CD. that's an same way as saving a document.

just open the email copy and paste on to WORD or other program...NOTEPAD. and save them on your comp. Then use program like NERO and make a data cd. from there its just copy and paste
