I have been involved with a variety of MLM companies over the years and I have certainly found the BEST one for today.
What I had to consider first was my market. I did not want to limit it in any way, such as only for women, men, etc. I also know that the largest market out there, with the most disposable income is the baby boomers. If you can stay a step ahead of them you cannot go wrong. Gone are the days where where people would fill their house with products that they purchased from their own "store". The boomers are now looking for health and anti-aging, and a large amount of them are open to another stream of income, residual, as retirement approaches.
My next focus was on the compensation plan. I found an 11 year old debt free company that offers bonuses like I have never seen before. I put it up against some of my past plans and it blew them away.
I also wanted a product that was endorsed by the right people so that some of the advertising would be done for me in that most people have already heard of it. This one has been featured on Oprah, Larry King, CNN Live, Letterman as well as others. 3 of the world's top marathon runners are using the product as they attempt to cross the Sahara on foot. They said they had been approached by every nutritional company out there and nothing cut their recovery time in half or gave them the endurance and stamina that this product did. They will be wearing our logos while on their trek which is being filmed by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
I was looking for a company that had eliminated a lot of the usual obstacles associated with MLM and I believe this company has achieved that. We have free websites as well as top training and mentoring. There are no more meetings to go to, everything is done via the phone or internet. They are training everyone to use some of the top tools available in marketing today, and the meetings and training are done either by telephone or webcast.
Absolutely everything is in place to make this the most lucrative MLM company out there.

More like Concentric Retail as opposed to MLM--
Have you ever heard of BurnLounge? Not very many people have heard of them, as they just started in October 2005. BurnLounge gives you several options for affiliation. With BurnLounge, you can buy music, sell music, and promote new musicians (for example unsigned bands) on your BurnLounge site. They have music sites now, but will be adding ring tones, movies, DVDs, video games, concert tickets, audio books, etc.
I have an online store at http://burnlounge.com/mlbliss and enjoy the people I have met while doing this. It can be a challenge trying to get people to explore new things, but I enjoy every minute of it :) This is not a 9 to 5 job, unless you want it to be. You work from the convenience of your home and on your time.
Here are some sites for you to check out and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at tonja_myers@yahoo.com or tlm16365@hughes.net
To check their legitimacy: My site is http://burnlounge.com/mlbliss and you can also research them at http://corp.burnlounge.com and http://help.burnlounge.com
