It is 56 bags for each 100 square feet for a four inch depth of concrete, assuming you use 80 lb bags. However, I personally would figure 60/100sq ft.

the bag should tell you the volume. Divide the manufacturers volume by how thick you intend to make the concrete, the number you get after the division is the area.

Make sure your UNITS are the same.

Calculate the volume you want to fill in cu.ft

Then, Number of bags = volume x 1.8

If your volume is 10ft x 10 ft x 4 in
= 33.33 cu.ft

Bags required 33.33x1.8 = 60
