when they get their drivers licences, or can they even have a drivers licence? Just curious, no disrespect meant, I don't know what they call those things over their heads????? You can tell me that too. thanx

This called Hijab and Muslim women wear it only in front of strange men not women!! But only out side,,they don't need to wear it in front of their fathers, brothers, uncles. only outside in front of strange men..Islam required Muslim women to cover her head and body in front of strange men..Sure they have driving license..Don't you see that there are a lot of Muslim women driving?? but not all Muslim women cover their face and its not requited at all..only some do,,but covering hair and body is required

It's called a burqa. The requirement to wear is called Hijab.
Depends on how fundamentalist they are most wouldn't take it off if it was believed a man could see them and issues have already come up with drivers licenses for women who adhere to this belief.

The head covering is called a "hijab" and the face covering is called a "niqab." For getting a driver's license, you are allowed to remove your face covering. When I got my picture taken, they didn't ask me to take off my hijab but it seems a bit pointless to take a picture WITh the face covering on, right? lol. According to Islamic shar'iah, you are allowed to show your face for identification purposes for health card, driver's license, crossing the border, boarding an airplane, etc.

All I know is the Muslim religion is very strict. I don't know much about it. I don't think the women can even get a driver's license . I am not sure. But I know they don't have many rights.
The thing they wear to cover their head and face is called a veil.

I'm a Muslim women and i drive a car ive been driving since i was 17 years old, i can show my face and I'm wearing shella not hejab i can show my hair if i want to and do what ever i want ... its up to the individual Muslim in my family 4 girls are wearing hejab and 5 are not just shella covering the rest of our heads but not front if we want to and we even ware makeup and color our hair ... in my family all the girls have cars and not just any cars i drive jag and one of my cosines she drive Hummer same would say its a boys car but she like it... also all of my Friends drive and most of them like me they don't wear hejab

Burkha is the name for the head dress. Terrorists use it also for disguising themselves as women.The female has no rights and must asked the male member in her household permission for all things.Funny how the Iran president spoke of love and tolerance among nations .His nation has no tolerance of women's rights.

No not at all, they can never hsow their faces. In their religion they can get killed for taking it off. I don't think most bother with a license and I think can take a picture with it on since it is for religious reasons.

Different places call them different names.Burka,chador,gellabia to name a few.And if they are so religious that they veil,no one but relatives are supposed to see their faces.

no they can only show minimal eyes and finger tips . anything else is considered that the lady is a 'english version' ---whore and not holy
