They are all sitting in the window of a charity shop in Exeter Devon. Each has a "For Sale" notice around his neck. I am not over fond of the little fellows, but it must be quite humiliating for them; this is the third day that I have driven past the shop and seen them.If they are still unsold by to-morrow, I shall buy them myself.

Well, my Mother's garden gnome once sent her a postcard from Paris. Maybe they've just gone on vacation. Can't see them leaving all those bank vaults unguarded for long. The other possibility is that they've moved off shore.
