There is a cool new website that can help you find the jeans you're looking for: zafu.com
You answer some questions and they will find which jeans will fit you best. Then you can filter by price and rise height. There may be some brands you had not considered that might be great for you, like Lee or Levi's Signature line. All of the jeans they show are available on line too, which makes buying them easy!

I hate the Low Rise craze too (I dont like flaunting my *** crack, un like every other girl seems to)
anyway, try wal-mart if you want cheap. I found some Mossino (sp?) jeans at Target that I really like. Also the Gap is good, and sometimes American Eagle

Nordstrom carries both LAUREN RALPH LAUREN and another brand called CASLON.
The CASLON jean is a stretch boot-cut and is very in-expensive!
Check it out online!

Chico's has some great jeans that are not low-rise. You can go to a store or go to their website at www.chicos.com.

I have a pair from target. Buy from the adult section, not the teenage section.
