If I were in the hot water the present day Jack Straw is in, the last thing I would want is a pub named after me that I owned. The fatwah will easily reach Hampstead.

Now, if "The SouthOckendon" should come on the market will you let me know as I could use it

Actually, yes, I've often thought that was a very apt name for a pub, although I think it's named after the Jack Straw who lead the Essex based Peasants' revolt.
