I thought I heard the 2010 Olympics will be held in New York is that true? What is their schedule?

2008 will be in Beijing (summer) and 2010 in Vancouver/Whistler (winter). New York bid for 2012 but lost to London.

The next Olympics will take place in 2008 in Beijing and then in 2012 in London. There will not be any Olympic event in 2010.
