As mentioned on one of your other questions, you will have to apply for a Visa in order to come to Canada and work. You can find all the information you need to know about the process here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/
If it is something you really want to do, then you will do whatever you need to to make it happen!
good luck!

I agree with the first person, Construction is crazy here in Calgary. Every where you go, new skyscrapers going up, cranes every where, news roads, overpasses. Houses being built like crazy, or being remodeled. The wait time here is crazy and the pay for the workers are up big time since there is simply just to much work, not enough workers to fill the shoes. Also, if you know anything about oil, lot's of the companies here are looking for engineers for anything that has to do with oil, administrative assistants, etc...
P.S. If you do come, make sure you have a place here, as vacancy rate here is less than 1 percent because so many people are comming and not enough places.

Are you a UK citizen? You have to get a visa but you can get a Working Holiday Visa for one year.
Well Calgary is the place to go to get work easily. I remember when I first went there me and my friend walked into a store on our first day and were hired on the spot. You should look in the Calgary Herald and the Calgary Sun for jobs or you can check www.monster.ca or www.workopolis.ca.
The problem in Calgary though is finding a place to live. You will probably be best off to find a place where people are looking for roommates.

If you can do anything in the construction field, they're screaming for workers in the Calgary area.
