Does it mean that much to you? I would say you are white since that's where most of your genes lie. Most white Americans have drops (1/8/1/16) of Native American, Mexican(Californios) or African American blood in them. Back then people covered up any "unsavory" roots so its good that at least you know about it.
If you're having an identity crisis this won't help a bit. Spend more time on academic interests, hobbies or friends.

Well to start off there is really no such thing as race. I know that sounds crazy because we are all so used to the concept of categorizing people by skin color. But race is purely a social concept, not a scientific one. For example , people answered that you were a mutt. This implies that they liken race to dog breeds. You can look at a dog and judge by its body type and coloration what breed of dog it is and be right 99% of the time. But when your talking about people this cannot be accomplished. That is because from a scientific standpoint, it is to hard and illogical to classify someone on attributes as arbitrary as skin tone, eye color, hair, height, etc. And you also cannot attribute personal characteristics to someone's race as being the sole factor in creating those characteristics. For example if you say that somone is good at math BECAUSE they are Asian, then i can find you 20,0000 Asians who are not good at math. So that means either 20,000 people are not asian because they are not math experts, or that being good at math is not a characteristic that comes from being Asian.
Let me make this less confusing for you by giving you a really simple answer. Since both of your parents are mostly of European ancestry, then that makes you Caucasian. But know in your head and hopefully in your heart, that we humans are not dogs, you are not a breed, you are not a mutt. When it all comes down to it your only "race" is human. Irish, German, French, Indian, are all ETHNICITIES, not races. You are a humanbeing with a rich and diverse background which happens to be European. When it all comes down to it your only "race" is human.

Looks like 2/6 Latin, 1/6 Native American, 3/6 European...

If you were born in the States, your race is the typical American. Go tell that to the bashers putting immigrants down!

You are whom you want to be. You might like Spanish food but Grman drinks, American Indian art but Irish music...etc.

You do not have to be one, you can be many. This is your advantage and your decision to make. If you are not certain how to approach it, read a book of fiction that I had for about two months now: Mixed and Anthology of short stories on multiracial experience. You will see that there are other with similar questions of who am I and you will see how they deal with it.

I am "plugging" the book only because I wish I had it growing up. This would have eliminated many questions that remained unanswered for me until later in my life.

You are who you want to be. AND you get to choose.

Don't worry about race so much! You are almost exactly what I am exact my father is Portuguese instead of Spanish but I call myself Caucasian. My husband is full Mexican so are kids are even more mixed up but you know what we are Americans we are all mixed up.

1) Your human....so you're part of the human race.

2) You are of different "cultures", not races.

3) Biologically there are mainly 3 outside differences in the world.
everyone descended from these groups: Black, White, Asian.
Your recent ancestry suggests you are White and Asian
mixed.

4) You can call yourself what you want, if it's that important. I'll
assume you were born here....that makes you American.

pick the one that's closest to you, or what you look like. I'm mixed with Irish, black, white and American Indiana, My dad is half black half white, my mother is half Indian half Irish, but I chose black because out of all of them black is the most dominate far as facial features, the one that I look like the most of . Even though I am equally the same in all the races. I chose black because its easier for me. Pick the one that's easiest for you. Just remember it's okay to be who you are. Its who you are in your heart, not on the outside!
