How to get a TV show copyrighted?

I wrote a pilot episode for a TV show that I would like to make/pitch to companies. How would I get this pilot episode copyrighted so people can not steal it?

Copyrite office. poormans copyrite is mail original to yourself Registered Mail, dont open it cause you know whats in it.Poormans prolly wont stand up in a courtroom anymore. No one ever fauted a good backup plan.
