Had that too with my flu. But I had a bit of blood in phlegm from nose so I figure when I am coughing it is probably copper taste from drainage in back of throat from nose.

Seeing any blood in ur sputum? A cough that has been hanging around for 2 weeks may have irritated ur throat and be causind some bleeding. See a dr.
