He doesn't want to lose you, but it sounds like you have somewhat moved on, so it might be best to move on if that's what you want to do. It sounds like he is just jealous. Think of why you split in the first place.

If you WANT to leave then leave. IF you had a legal separation though you will have to refile because you have been living together. This will probably set your divorce back another six months at least. According to most legal separation papers you can't live with one another during the separation if you've filed for divorce, or that makes everything you've done getting the divorce started null and void. In other words you broke the divorce contract. You'd better make up your mind as to what you want to do BEFORE you sign legal papers next time.

If u want to leave, then leave. What's stopping u? I don't understand why u would want to stay, seeing as u are now divorced. Time to move on with your own life.

Is the s/o really significant, or a rebound thing?

If it's a rebound, leave, and go back to your ex. 18 years is a long time to put into a relationship, and it sounds like he may want to reconcile.

Get out!!! There is a reason for the separation and you need your time with your significant other. It doesn't mean that you can't be friends with him, but you need to have a new life.

You shouldn't have went back in the first place. Leave and stay away if that is what you truly want.

Move in with our significant other. Or just leave outright. Youve already moved on-allow him to do the same.

If you want to leave, then you need to leave. Dont stay if its going to be a bad thing for you. Do what you want and need. Follow your mind and heart.
