Is there a diet to follow depending on where they fight+

when my cousin (a marine) was out on an intense mission (hanging out in a hole by himself in the desert for days) he said he ate mainly peanut butter and crackers, but besides that mre's here and there. he still has a hard time stomaching real food.

although there is a certian number of calories that the soldiers eat, most of the mre's are made especiallyto meet soldiers usda standards.they do however have feild chow usually it goes breakfast and dinner are regular hot meals and lunch is mre's

They eat MRE's and they do not follow a diet just 3000 calories per day.

The army has cooks and things but the Marines eat MRE's (meals ready to eat)♥

If they are out in the field they all eat MRE's but when they are back at base they have food that is cooked sometimes.
