My dad has just completed his first smoke-free year after quitting smoking on October 10th of 2005. He's been smoking since 1970 so it's really huge and I am so proud of him. What would be a good gift to get him on his one year anniversary?!? Thanks for the help!

Go to a trophy shop and have a cup made up for him. He's a champ!

Well I started smoking in the 60's.I quit smoking in 1995.After the first uear I got a new AXE,not a guitar, but an axe.
Now to explain. In 95 we had an ice storm here in the south, the roads were closed and I was out of smokes.Well we had a stump of an oak tree in our front yard where we had a tree cut down about 6 months earlier.Well when I needed a smoke I took the axe and went out and beat on the stump. We were iced in for 48 hours,After the 48 hours I had completely chopped the stump even with the ground, but I ruined the axe head and handle. The following year my wife brought me a newone.
So there is a suggestion.

Seriously, how about a nice dinner out or something like that? I'm sure he'd love a "date" with his daughter.
