My dad has just completed his first smoke-free year after quitting smoking on October 10th of 2005. He's been smoking since 1970 so it's really huge and I am so proud of him. What would be a good gift to get him on his one year anniversary?!? Thanks for the help!

Congratulations to your Father...and to you for thinking of rewarding him.

How about a nice walk in the park...just you and him. Maybe a picnic if the weather is nice. That way he can appreciate the smell of the fall weather & the trees and spend some quality time with someone who really loves him.

how nice that you want to reward your dad for his efforts. but you know the rewards he is reaping from being healthier and living longer are greater than anything you could purchase for him. If it were me, I would simply get a pretty card and write in it how proud you are of him.
