The chemicals in a 'mood ring' respond to changes in ambient temperature, not mood. They're the same chemicals used in those color-based thermometers you stick on the wall of a fish tank. They indicate the temperature of your finger, and nothing more than that.

Yes. Mood rings have a layer of liquid crystals which change color depending on temperature; in this case, the temperature of the finger wearing the ring. Some people will naturally have warmer fingers than others. Don't read anything into your mood ring that isn't there.

Blue-green: Somewhat relaxed
Green: Normal or average
Amber: A little nervous or anxious

blue means calm, or relaxed or happy lol red means in love, green means either exited or tired and i forgot purple but the colors also depend on the type of ring.
