Nowadays all cops do is give out tickets, taser innocent citizens and protect rich people from getting robbed of their mansions. Lets face facts, all police do is stop poor people from robbing rich people of their money. Why does anybody have respect for cops? Rich people got their money from screwing poor people anyways. All cops do is protect the rich people in their gated communities.

So the idea of civil unrest and rioting doesn't concern you right? I think that insulting people who come to the aide of others is really low. Some departments may not be as good as others, no one is perfect, but to go to a job that you don't always know if you can come home from day in and day out takes special people who give themselves to protect the rest of us.
I agree that the sense of entitlement held by the wealthy is starting to be a little overbearing towards the middle and blue collar classes. Maybe that should be the real question.

Giving out tickets when someone is breaking the law by say, speeding, or running a light is doing you a service. They could end up killing someone driving like that, like you or one of your children. If you really believe all those things, you are probably the same type of person that would keep their mouth shut if they saw a crime occur. Next time that crime could happen to you.

Sounds like you just got a ticket! I know many police officers and they are all great people. Probably depends on where you live. Cops always get a bad wrap I think. Everyone hates them untill your getting raped, robbed, or someone is trying to kill you. Then you love them. Wise up.

A Police Officer recovered my stolen car.
A Police Officer gave me a speeding ticket.
Stop whining, be grateful the Police Officers are there.
