You must have meant a cuboid, which is 3-dimensional, and not a rectangle, which is 2-dimensional. Convert all measurements to feet and multiply the width x length x dept. i.e. 4 x 8 x 0.25 = 8 cu. ft. Since 1 cu. ft equals 7.48 gals (and that's gallons!) then 8 cu. ft = 8 x 7.48 = 59.84 gals.
