I'm in love with my best friend's ex. He also happens to be a great friend of mine, so we see each other quite often. I really don't know what to do. I think he's attracted to me too, but have the same apprehensions I do. Should I tell him I love him? Or to my friend? Please, I need some advice. Thanks

Well talk to your friend about it, and whatever he tells you from there is up to you if you start a relationship with that other person. Be honest to your friend at least you're letting him now, if he and that other person arent together anymore that means that they are know history. I dont know if you understand what I mean but hey you never know sometimes life is so ironic, what if this is the love of your life and you let her go???

wow...talk to your best friend first and ask how she feels about the topic of someone dating her ex. you don't have to say it's you. if the ex feels the same way, let him know you are available or slightly interested without saying it directly. if he takes the bait, blame him if your friend has a problem with it. if not, he must not be that interested. All in all...which relationship means the most to you?

The answer depends on your age. If you are young well, talk to your friend, you will probably end up dating the guy. If you are older you should know by now that he was to remain off limits.
However, it sounds like you have already invested time in this and now have committed yourself to move forward. You should first really evaluate the situation and ask yourself if you are willing to lose your friend for him, is this a relationship going to progress into a long term (marriage) or are you still not sure? If you have not made up your mind that you really love him. I would end it and move on.

You at least owe your best friend honesty and tell her about your wanting to pursue more then friendship with her ex and then take it from there. Be prepared since what ever decision you make might cost you your friendship with your best friend. At the same time you may be surprised and she might not mind it at all. Good luck to you.

Go for it
Your best friend didn't work out with the person and can't stop him/her from seeking out someone new even if it is you.

Is this a long term relationship ex, married ex, or just a casual ex?
I would not mess with a friends ex.

If you are going to persue a relationship with this man than get prepared to loose your friend. She will feel betrayed and rightfully so. That is just how these things work. If you love him than persue him and loose your great friend.
