Yes, I am an American, living in America and yes I have visited the UK and would love to go back.
I went to York and Scarborough (and a few other places I can't remember) and stayed with a friend in Leeds....and I love the architecture and the OLD OLD churches and castles.
It tripped me out a bit to see "Starbucks" and "pizza hut" in buildings that were hundreds of years old, right next to an even older church (in York).
I love it there...and I would live there if I could.
I wasn't impressed with the food though...kind of bland.

I'm an American in the States. I've never been out of the country, but I'd love to visit the UK, all of Europe, really. I like a lot of things that have come out of Britain - the Beatles..and even the Spice Girls. But since I've never been there, I couldn't say whether I love or hate it.

>Are you American, living in the states?
Yes, in Oklahoma (Tulsa, to be precise)
>If so, would you like to visit the UK, have you?
Yes, I would like to visit the United Kingdom...and yes, I have, a long time ago.
>What do you think of the Brits?
In a way, they are a lot like Americans...regionally divided with different accents, tastes and styles.
>Do you like our country?
Oh, yeah...what's not to like?
>Would you like to visit our country?
I'd like to return.
My last trip only included London, Stratford-Upon-Avon, parts of Wales and the coast of Dover.
>What do you think of Britain?
In what context: politically, environmentally, as a tourist, as a history buff?
>Love? Hate? or indifferent?
Love...probably a good description.
And respect...after all, you guys have been our best allies and we are your closest relatives in terms of immigration and language.
Besides, I've got family ties to the UK, so there's a wee bit o' Brit in me (okay, I know that's probably more of an Scottish accent, but you get the idea).

I am an American citizen, living in the U.S. (and have all my life) My brother lives in the UK and has lived there for about 10 years. I visited him for the first time last spring. I LOVED the Brits that I met. They were lovely people, and I plan to visit again next Spring. My brother keeps relaying messages from the folks I met at his pub to me and vice-versa. My favorite thing was that they let dogs in the pubs there. If we did that here, I would be at the pub every night (with my dog!)

I am from Denton, Texas and have visited London and the surrounding area 7 or so years ago and loved it. It is simple beautiful there. It would say its a great place to visit and party but i missed all the luxurys (restuarants, services, etc) of home. I am now married and would love to take my wife again and see more of the UK.

I like all the Brits I have met. I am sure there are some bad apples but there are in every group.
British culture & language is similar to American but different enough to be very unique & interesting.
I would love to visit. Unfortunately I am currently one poor yank!!!

I really don't like to travel. I like everybody as a person. When I meet someone I meet them with an open mind and as long as they respect me and treat me alright then I don't have a problem with anyone of any nationality or race. Everyone has feelings and beliefs and I can respect that. I don't have any problem with anybody from Britain. I loved the Beatles band. I have their records and I liked Ringo.

Yes, I'm American living in the states.
And I've been to the UK a number of times, and love it.
Been to London, Brighton, Reading, Derby, Manchester, Newcastle, and a few other places in England...plus Dundee and St. Andrews in Scotland, Dublin in Ireland, the Isle of Wight...
Wonderful country, terrific people who are for the most part friendly and love to welcome visitors. Can't wait to go back :)
