in recent times those words are lost no longer in easy terms for the Left yet for many diverse people (of their political judgment), no longer least because of the fact for some years the superb have mercilessly exploited those notions in a demagogic way, attempting to assist their image putting themselves as great-duper defenders of those values in substitute for political factors. The direct and glaring results of this develop right into a considerable devaluation of those values. Chaney courageously protecting Iraqi people against a bad guy and protecting the international against the imaginary WMD... protecting the employer by using Iraq contracts for his Haliburton. provide me a brake... Pray, do no longer tell me approximately braveness, honor, and MORALITY after the final term of the superb with Bush presidency.

Yes we have lost all sense of the moral good. We are an embarrassment and I am ashamed that my country is taking such a turn for the worst. I just learned today that over 100 people die in Iraq daily because of the sectarian violence that is going on. Which all began because we wanted to go to Iraq.
Shame on America!

War is a nasty business and nasty things do happen. Yes, even our folks in the military can lose it once in a while. When you overload your troops, put them in horrible conditions, subject them to high stress and very difficult jobs, stuff happens.
I'm not justifying what they did. They should be prosecuted-- and they will be.
Its a few bad apples-- don't paint the whole military that way.

There are many moralities besides one testimony does not make a fact. Our founding Christian fathers tried to experminate the American Indians. They should have been court martialed.

I agree with you although I hate the word morality, because everyone has a different version of it. They probably wanted revenge for 9/11 or something. I remember reading a survey saying that 85% of the soldiers thought we were in Iraq for revenge on 9/11.

well... that's extremely horrible...
but sometimes I think that we look on the past with rose colored glasses... in every war, basically in the history of mankind, there are equally horrible stories of injustices on both sides...
does that excuse it... of course not...
but you say "lost" like it's never happened before or like we had morality in past wars... if we got through a war with none of these kinds of horrors, it would be the first time...
but of course we should strive for not having these kind of events... and hopefully one day we will get there.. hopefully one day we won't need to fight wars at all...
