MMMMM peanut butter... you are fine eating it. It won't hurt the baby. My craving lately has been root beer. I normally can't stand it. I have been craving egg salad too.. another one of those can't stand its. Luckily most of my cravings go away after about a week. The things I don't want to eat hang around for much longer. No chicken, tomatoes in any form, garlic, bread, ewwww.

I believe that is something you should be aware of after your baby is born. I think it's bad to give them peanuts, and peanut butter and have to wait till their older to find out because it could cause an allergic reaction and could kill a little baby. Some moms want to give their babies things they can eat when they have no teeth, and get old enough to eat.
Well I am no expert, but I believe that is what I read about it.

Peanut butter is fine for you. Go ahead and indulge in your cravings while you have a good excuse to! Good luck & congrats on the baby.

My doctor told me I could eat peanut butter he said it was good for me. If you go to WIC they give you peanut butter or dried beans. They wouldn't give it to you if it was bad for the baby. I wouldn't sweat it.

You can eat anything during pregnancy, it does not cause problems for your child.

I have actually been told that your baby (in your case when they are older) will like to eat what you craved during your pregnancy.
For example my first pregnancy I craved Ice Cream and my son LOVES ice cream.

As for what I am craving nachos, Doritos and occasionally chocolate.

hmmmm, the wierdest thing i can think of is that now i cant stand chocolate anything, hate the smell of bread, and can eat lasagna and steak everyday....... also smoked/ hot sausage wrapped in a flour tortilla with mustard...... as far as the peanut butter thing goes, you wont know what you're baby's allergic 2 until it gets here, until then......ENJOY!!!!!!!

well... when i was pregnant my nutritionist recommended to eat peanut butter as a source of iron.... i guess like everything just try not to eat a jar a day and you'll be OK.
