Yes I have been & no I didn't. I later learned that there is no such thing as a Snipe, & this is just a way to trick new campers to going into the woods & beating on bushes with sticks. Now I use the same joke, it's a good one.

There is such an animal called a snipe in southern canada and northern US. Onces its skinned, it makes good homemade jerky!

Yes, but my methods may be wrong because I never see any. BUT, I do watch out for those side-hill gougers! And the Northern Post Hole Stealers will also get ya if you're not careful.
