Why are the Twins losing it? Are the A's really gonna sweep them?
Today's game is already 4-0! Go A's ! ! ! !
Any comments?

The Twins have had a heck of a season and anybody that claims they suck has been smokin twinkydust. They posted the best team batting average in the bigs this year.
The A's have simply played solid baseball all year long and quietly won their division going away. They've learned how to win by going back to basic fundamentals, using their strength and containing their weaknesses.
Winning is contagious and the A's have the bug. It would be no surprise to me to see them get the ring.
P.S. I'm a fan of baseball and rooting for the game. Being a Royals fan, my blinders were removed on opening day.

Yeah, the Twins are losing it...but that's okay, because look at what they accomplished during the REGULAR SEASON...
1:) Joe Mauer got the batting title...not just for the American league, but for the whole Major League Baseball, that's REALLY GOOD.
2:) Johan Santana SHOULD get The Cy Young Award for the 2nd time in his very young career...(Remember when he first was on the team, he was pitching out of the bullpen, and now look where he is now, best left-handed pitcher for the Twins).
3:) Justin Morneau SHOULD be in the top 3 for the M.V.P for the American League...It would even be better if he wins it considering the horrid season that he had last year in 2005.
And 4:) Brad Radke retiring after the season is over with...Let's face it...he pitched basically the whole season this year with a bum shoulder, and yet he finished with a 12-9 record.
As I was writing this the Twins were only down 4-2...should have been 4-3...the home plate umpire made a bad call and called Torii Hunter out instead of safe...Oakland Catcher Jason Kendall didn't even come close to getting him, but he sold it real well, i guess...BTW i have the utmost respect for Jason Kendall, but if your going to physically tag somebody you should tag them real hard and not do a "Phantom" like tag, you know.
Let's face it...the Twins have absolutely nothing to be asahmed of...BUT winning one game against the Oakland A's or even "Running the table" and winning 3 straight would be SWEEEEEEET.
IF the TWINS get past the Oakland A's, then anything's possible, I guess...If not, then the Oakland A's better make it to the World Series FOR SURE.

The A's have been very good all season, and not many people are talking about the A's, but I really like their chances to go very far in the postseason. All people are talking about is a damn Subway Series (Not Going To Happen!!!!) The Twins had a fantastic season coming from doulbe digits down to win the AL Central Division, but the key for the Twins was to win game 1 with Santana pitching when that did not happen, I knew the A's were golden. The A's will be tough to handle for the Yankees or the Tigers.

Gotta say that the Twins won't quit, even though I am a Sox fan. Personally I think the A's are more confident right now.
If the Twins don't wake up there done!
