Depends on your situation. A waisted youth for one person may not be a waist at all for another. For example, lets say one guy is raised the son of a wealthy and successfull entrepeneur who founded a charity. The kid parties like hell untill he turns 25, a quarter of his life. The kid turns 25 and his father dies so he takes over his business and runs his charity. Now he's being productive. Now take another guy who's born to a single mother of 6 who can't afford a gallon of milk and trades food stamps for lottery tickets. What do you think this guy has to do to be productive at 25? He's got to work his malnourished as s off to get through college and then get lucky on top of it.
So what I'm saying is, if you're in a position to party and still make it into a productive ''old person'', then go for it. But if you know that when you're done partying you'll still be right where you were when you started, you better weigh the costs and imagine what its like to be serving fries when you're 45.

Would you rather have fun for the first 25 and be miserable for the next 50 or be tame for the first 25 and be able and productive for the next 50.
I like the second option

Both are important parts of life. I wasted a portion of my life and learned from it. Now I'm wise and productive!
