Emergency contraception can only be used up to 48 hours after intercourse. Since you took it first thing the morning after, you should be fine. However, you should always use two forms of birth-control; Condoms and an oral contraceptive is the best. The morning-after pill can be harsh and is not the best method. Try Alesse. It is a low estrigen birth-control pill that is very effective, but doesn't have as severe side-effects as the others, such as nausea or vomitting.

It is possible that the pill did not end a pregnancy. The emergency contraceptive pill (just like the regular birth control pill) works in 1 of 3 ways: it can inhibit the release of an egg, it can inhibit fertilization of the egg (pregnancy) or it can lessen the lining of the uterus which would cause a fertilized egg (embryo) to be aborted. Some people say that pregnancy does not begin until implantation and so they say that the pill does not cause an abortion. Here's an article which talks about how effective it is: http://all.org/article.php?id=10150.
God Bless!

Unprotected sex with your boyfriend can lead to pregnancy, so I recommend making an appointment with Planned Parenthood for a pregnancy test. They don't charge much for an appointment there, and you can get on the regular birth control pill, which is much, much safer and easier on your body for regular use than the "morning after" emergency contraceptive pill.
Or they can give you the birth control patch, birth control ring, Depo-Provera injections, or even the Mirena IUD. There are lots of reliable options. Did you know that you can pregnant from the withdrawal method, even if your boyfriend pulls out before he "releases?" This is because pre-ejaculatory fluid has lots of sperm in it.
So take care of yourself and be responsible with your body. You only get one body and one chance to be young!

It all depends on your cycle and if you were ovulating. You generally ovulate about 2 weeks before your period starts, if you're regular. Take an emergency contraceptive is a pretty good way to end the start of any pregnancy. Remember if you are pregnant that adoption is always a better choice than abortion. Good luck to you.

If you were already on the pill, chances are slim, but still there. If you weren't on the pill and then took one the next morning, your chances of getting pregnant are much higher.
Have you heard about condoms?

if you are taking birth control pills regularly, your chances of getting pregnant are none..... but if you tried to used it as last minute problem solver won't work.....you need to be under birth control for at least two weeks in order to work properly.....
now if you had unprotected sex 18 days after your last period... you are OK... because your ovule is mature and won't be able to be fecundated. cause you already passed your ovulation time.
other way my dear friend... you are definitely pregnant...

To the question "could I be pregnant?" No matter what other factors there are, YES you could be pregnant, period.
Is it likely after using plan B? No.
