Yes, yes, I know it's safer and all but some of my best memories were when I went out into the night as a kid to collect candy...it made it a lot more spooky and mysterious.

Of course! How are you suposed to jump out of the bushes and scare people with freaky costumes if they have the disadvantage of daylight?
Besides, the vampires wouldn't survive.

trick-or-treating is worthless during the day there is no fun during the day but you may get the first pick in candy but almost everyone works during the day.

yeah its dumb trick-or-treatin in the light. The houses and costumes look spookier at night

it is better. halloween is about being scared. imagine going to a haunted house where they had all of the lights on. it would be no fun.
