I want to write a persusaive speech on school shooting but I don't know how to do that without turning it into a informative speech? Does anybody have any ideas?

School shootings is much more informative than persuasive. What would you be persuading your audience to do? Stop shooting? You should pick a topic that your class can relate to. The purpose of a persuasive speech is to convince them to alter the way they think or act. You should save school shootings for an informative speech.

Good luck!

Appeal to the audiences conscience. We would probably have a lot less shootings if there were a lot less bullys. I've even known some parents who were proud of their childs bullying tactics. Essentially, when something happens like this, I feel it is the community at fault. Get people to pay attention and intervene when they witness bullys at work. Good luck.
