It's a hit or miss thing with the feeling coming back.....it IS possible so keep up with your therapy and have some faith. This may take a very long time so you must be patient.

I servered a finger and hand when I was 12. I severed the tendon, nerve and artery. They put an artificial tendon in my finger. I had to go for therapy for 6 months but I did get function and feeling back.

severed nerves do not heal ( that's why spinal cord injuries are permanent ) but traumatized ones can
