Yesterday I was reading an older children's book to Logan that had the title Something Queer Happened at the Ball Park about a girl loosing her baseball bat. I had to explain to him what Queer meant. I think some really odd stuff has happened in regards to laws, attention to the immigration/terrorist problems etc. When I was talking to my father about Foley hurting the Republicans he said he is a pediphile and he did not do much for the image of gays either. What I have to say about the two 'gay' Republicans is they had other issues such as one was dishonest married a woman concealed the fact he was gay to get ahead in the world whereas Foley as my father says may be covering up his issues by saying he was molested as a young boy because that has not been proven yet that it occurred much less by a Clergyman.

Are we really supposed to believe that Foley was molested by a clergyman? He's definitely trying to find a scapegoat... and failing miserably.

And, yes, there's ALWAYS been something queer going on with the Republican party, even before taking their sexual preferences into account.

the Republican party fell from grace again,, the moral majority illusion is true,,, no one,, no political party,, no leader should hold themselves up as being more moral than another,,, not the congress,, not conservatives,, not the president,, not the ministers,, this country has been strangled by the pious,, and fear,, power and money,, I think your father is a wise man,, your son is lucky to have a mother who takes the time to read and explain the ills of the world to her child

The Republican occasion has a historic previous of pushing issues under the rug. those revelations have consistently been there yet at the instant are coming forth. You cant cover issues invariably. every person has grimy laundry.

Folye is just trying to find away to excuse his behavior, there is none, not even the YMCA (young mens congressional aides) will buy it. If he was molested he has to prove it and then that still does not excuse his predatory behavior. He needs to do some time in the joint, where he can have all the sex he wants

The cry "molested as a child" has been used to try to justify their actions hoping that the courts will feel sorry for them. Unless you were traumatized to the point you can't function in life then you still have the ability to choose between right and wrong! They need to put that liberal bed wetter in prison!
