Hmmm, interesting ideas. Seems like they could use all of these ideas and have a couple of old school shows, dedicate quite few hours to NEW videos, plus keep some of the regular programming, too. Thx for the input! Oh, I do tune in to VH1 every so often, but I don't see any videos. ??

Of course, music videos are the only reason I tune into MTV. Same goes for vh1. Music videos are entertaining and fun, especially if it's your favorite song. Shows like Next, Made, Parental Control and Laguna Beach are all awful and flat out stupid. None of that is "reality" and no one on that channel is an "actor". I want to see either good, entertaining shows or 24-hour music videos!!!

There's a huge market for both the videos and the shows...what would be IDEAL would be to have one MTV station that only plays the shows, and other stations that only play music videos--it seems like that's kind of what they initially tried to do with MTV 2, and MTV Tr3s but it just wasn't executed very well.

Yes, I miss Music on MTV. I was watching the day it started. How novel, the idea of having music on a station named MUSIC Television. Oh yeah I forget, there is music on tv-- its called VH1.

It depends, because when MTV actually shows music videos they play the same videos over and over again. If they played a wide variety of music videos then yes I would watch it, but if they played the loop of the same ones over and over again then NO!

You mean... if MTV went back to being MUSIC Television? Of course.
It was cool when there was nothing but videos 24 hours a day. when it first began airing, there weren't even any commercials!

Sure would, especially if they aired old school videos.That's when VH1 is the best when they air videos in the mourning.

Hell Yeah, It's called Music Television of a reason. But it won't bother me so much if they had SOME music based reality shows.

Would depend on the videos. I like videos that tell a story, not just show people half naked and dancing.

YES!! I hate it how they have those stupid shows all the time they should have one MTV channel for videos and one for all the reality shows
