Definitely say something, preferably to the owner. It does happen, I admit it. My prep cook didn't wrap steak properly once, and when it came back, I thought I had a whiner of a customer. But I smelled it and ooh boy! I immediately took money off their bill and made them another one that I sniffed first to make sure it had been wrapped right.
Then gave the prep cook a good tongue-lashing.
Customers appreciated it, and they kept coming back! Owners can't fix something they don't know is broken, as the saying goes.

If the food is gross, dont eat it.....Or if your at a restaruant, complain to the waiter or manager person. maybe youll get something else...or a free meal even!
