In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd

Yes sure, there are several books that do just that:
http://www.amazon.com/Atheist-Universe-Didnt-Have-Thing/dp/1413434819/sr=8-1/qid=1160168549/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-0780093-0964737?ie=UTF8&s=books
If you explain the universe using god, you have some problems to deal with:
* How did God come about?
* And why did an omnipotent and omniscient being do such a thing? If he knew the result of creating the universe before hand and everything that will happen, then creating the universe would be an exercise in futility.
* The age of the Universe and Humanity as science tells are totally different from the Bible versions which would somewhat indicate that God is not omnipotent as he did not creat the earth and humanity in 6-7 earth days.

yes it can there is a scientific explantion for everything, and god is not in it. Well the whole world started by the big bang.I think that is when a star exploaded, and made the whole universe expand, and it is known that it is still expanding. The earth was created in the big bang theory. The sciendtific explanation for how we were created are chimpanzes we have many simular qualitys, and scientits found out that we used to walk like chimpanzes too but then we learned how to walk on our two hind legs. See there is a way the universe can be explanined without god.

Yes of course!I've been doing that all day, LOL!
Well take in this for a moment:
We are nothing.Get over it.Someone used the analogy that we are a speck of sand on the beach.Wrong.We are the quarks that make up that grain of sand.
Now take this in:
We are not alone in the universe. There are Extra Terrestial.
And again, take this in:
The universe is not alone. It is in a cycle with millions of other universes. So let's call it a gigaverse. These gigaverses are in endless space, doing a life cycle similar to that of a sun.Is born from a giant cloud of gas.Lives a few hundred trillion years.Explodes.And inside one of those millions of gigaverses is our gigaverse.Considerably towards the center, there is a galaxy named the Milky Way.Notice the name? It's ours.Inside, considerably near the edge is a solar system that holds the planet Earth, with Homo Sapiens destroying their enviroment. And look, there's you!!And on one of the continents, is a country that you live in.Then the county. Then the city. Then your house. And then you. You, living your boreing civilian life. But, lo and behold!Your sub-atomic particles hold all those millions of gigaverses! And a race totally and utterly controlled by you! What am I saying?Trillions of races!!And guess what? They hold trillions of races too!Amazing, huh?

A lot of poeple will try to explain it without God, but no scientist of philosopher has even come close to it yet. How can something so perfect come together to be able to support such complex living creatures? The Big Bang theory? NO WAY! Everything has to be just right, or perfect, for us to exist. There has to be a CREATOR.

It can be, and it can be explained with God. In essence, since we weren't there at its inception, you can't really use the creation of the universe as absolute proof of God existing or not existing. Once you establish elsewhere the presence or absence of God, you can then go back and put your findings onto your beliefs of how the universe began.

Bordering on Philosophical but that is the quest of the atheistic scientist. However, can one explain the existance of God?
Astrology can chart the beginnings of the universe right back to the very first moment, but not the ultra ultra beginning. THat's the big question.

God was created by man to explain what he couldn't. As we have expanded our knowledge of nature God have been shrinking.
Sorry there is no Santa Claus, and no fairies.

Well if you took a big lump of playdogh - do you really believe that it will miraculously turn itself into the universe as we know it! Someone bigger than the universe had to create it - in our case God. And oh yea wouldn't you rather believe that you were uniquely created by God then evolved from a monkey!?

Of course, it can. There are a bunch of theories on how the universe was created. i.e. Big Bang, Dust particle model, etc. And there are a lot of evidence for some of them too.
