It's also called "tubal ligation". It's just like a man getting a vasectomy, so you're sterlized, but there's a very small (.5%) chance of still getting pregnant.

"Tubal ligation, commonly knows as “getting your tubes tied,” is a surgical sterilization technique for women. This procedure closes the fallopian tubes, and stops the egg from traveling to the uterus from the ovary. It also prevents sperm from reaching the fallopian tube to fertilize an egg. In a tubal ligation, fallopian tubes are cut, burned, or blocked with rings, bands or clips. The surgery is effective immediately. Tubal ligations are 99.5% effective as birth control. They do not protect against sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS."

Tubes are tide so you dont become pregnant! There like perminent condoms. The only way is to get them untied! That would be very expensive though and you would have to go through so much pain!!!!!! AGAIN! Have you considered adopting???? It may be best in your situation. Good Luck Hun!!!

If your tubes were tied only, then yes you can get pregnant. If they were tied and the ends burned or fused together then it would be highly unlikely.

It's very difficult and I'm not entirely sure how it's possible, I think it depends on how it was done. Like if they were tied and not cut and burned the way it do it nowadays. But yes, it has happened.

not if the procedure was done right. unless it's the first month after, you might already have dropped an egg. but after the first month you shouldn't
