It has to be Man Utd Vs Arsenal now theres a classic rivalry which doesnt go back millions of years but has some classic matches eg1999 fa cup semi final 2-1 to United and keane gets sent off Schmichael saves a penalty in the last min of normal time and Giggs beats half the arsenal team to score the winner the other could be when united thrashed arsenal 6-1 at old trafford in i think 2002 or when arsenal drew 0-0 at old trafford and van nistelrooy missed a penalty in the last minute and the arsenal team beat him up or more recently the battle of trafford park just a few classics

I would say the Man Utd Liverpool rivalry is based on regional and football reasons but the others have a political and religious reason for being. You could also have added Milan Moscow Athens plus a multitude of African and Asian rivalries we don't know about. Although a Rangers fan I am very aware of rivalries in Belgium between Flemish and Waloon teams

Boca-River rivalry is HUGE! ask any real football fanatic and they will know. It is the biggest club team rivalry and the fans are fukkin CRAZY! they mess with each other during the game and after. and when Boca wins......its a HUGE celebration

Benfica Vs Sporting Lisbon.
BIG TIME RIVALRY. I'm a SPorting fan myself & I must say big em up!!!
HEnce would explain why in CHampions League when Benfica played Man Utd Cristiano ROnaldo was gettin' booed at all the time whenever he touched the ball. Cos he originally came from Sporting Lisbon to Man Utd, & as old history goes Benfica & Sporting detest each other. . . like Spurs & Arsenal.

I've seen tv images of both sets of fans kicking setting each other on fire with those flares and the whole Bombonera stadium just moving and swaying from all the fans jumping up and down and singing non-stop.

probably two answers: real barca and juventus inter. real and barca are the 2 most powerful clubs ever (did you ever wonder how there are rumors that they're always in debts but they always get away with it?). its a catalonia - castilla duel, means much more than just a game, its a matter of whos the bigger winner as a nation of spain...
and juv- inter because they're first match was played in 1911 and since then every match had no available tickets

barceolona and real madrid!!! I a huge real madrid fan and i love beckham!!When ever those 2 teams play u can always feel all that energy from the field go into the stands and into u!!This rivalry has bean going on for a long time and will never end!!!!!!!!!!
