My little girl was a modest 7 lbs when she was born and is now 6 weeks old and still only 9 lbs (but very healthy) and is still SWIMMING in her newborn/0-3mos clothes! I can only put her in one piece outfits and roll the sleeves and ankles. Forget about any of the cute pants outfits I recieved from the baby shower they are almost out of season and she isn't even close to being able to keep them up. So my question is: did anyone else have this problem? When did your baby grow out of 0-3 months?

my son (also 7 lbs. at birth), is now a year old, out grew most of his 0-3 month clothes at two months. infact he has always out grown his clothes at least 1 month before the age limit lol. at 6 weeks he was still swimming in his newborn clothes also but then it seemed overnight he grew into everything. his clothes fit perfectly for a week (maybe 2) and then poof they were to small.

All babies are different. My boy is 6 months old and wears 9-12. He wore 0-3 for maybe 3 weeks, then he was done because he couldn't fully extend his leg in the onsies (he's tall). But... he has a friend that's 2 weeks older than him and he wears 3-6 now. and he was 0-3 when my baby was in 3-6 and he's older. She got a lot of my babies unused clothes. Now at 6 months, my baby wears 9-12 no problem. I don't think there is any certain age it all depends on the kid and the height of the parents. If she's older than 3 months and still fitting in 0-3, and eating well, I wouldn't worry. Some brands run bigger then others. Next time you are at your Dr. ask, I'm sure she's normal. Enjoy every second... They grow up so fast! Good Luck!!

That completely depended on the brand - in some she made it until she was 2 mths old, and she had a few things she could still wear fine until she was 9 mths! Depends on the cut. Pants never fitted right I thought. She was over 9 lbs at birth though, so she was bigger from the go. She should be hitting a growth spurt right about now, so I bet in the next week(s) she'll start filling those clothes out just fine!

Don't worry; one day you will just notice that she is much bigger - you won't even know how and when it happened!
My baby was a preemie (only 5 lbs at birth), and all his newborn clothes were too big. By the end of his third month I wasn't able to use any of those 0-3 months clothes anymore because he outgrew them.

My 10 month old daughter out grew her 0-3 month clothes when she was about 2-3 months. She now wears 12-18 month clothes. She is a big girl.

My son was only in 0-3 month clothing for about a month but was born at just under 9 lbs, 21 inches long. As long as your little one is healthy and your doc isn't concerned about her growth, don't worry about it. She will grow at her own pace.

My baby outgrew those in about 2 weeks. I had a very large baby (9 pounds on birth and off the charts in length)!
